Any thoughts on this... PPR League, and here are the postions:

QB
WR WR
RB RB
TE
Flex (QB/WR/RB/TE)
Flex (WR/RB/TE)
K
DST

To a great extent, it's always about reacting to what other players are doing... For instance, while I'd love to have 2 stud QBs, if they're flying off the board and I can get two of the top-12 RBs, I probably will go that route and look to pick up guys like Romo, Kaepernick, Flacco, and Eli later on. Ideally I'm shooting for 2 top-12 RBs, one top-12 WR, and then go QB later than everyone else.

What do yall think?

I think that it greatly depends on how your league is scoring the various positions. Without knowing that, it is hard to assess value. I am assuming you are having a snake draft, so your strategy will also depend on where you are picking and how many people are in your league. The PPR aspect changes the valuation of some RBs and most WRs but the scoring of TDs matters the most IMHO.

Pretty standard Yahoo rules, although passing TDs are 4pts, rushing/receiving are 6pts. Snake draft. The value of guys individually isn't too much of an issue, but I am getting caught up in the tier-ing of players, and assessing value of positions vs. positions, to some extent (ie: HUGE drop off after the first TE gets taken this season, big drop off after about the 12th RB, etc).

Thanks for the response.
